Trick Decks in magic tricks term refers to playing card decks that has been "modified" to help magicians to do some magic tricks with the card decks. If you just started on doing magic card tricks and do not fancy doing sleight of hands, trick decks will be very useful. There are several type of magic trick decks.
Here are few type of magic trick decks :
Stripper Deck
This type of magic trick decks will allows you to instantly find, cut, or stripped any selected card that has been free selected and put back into the card deck, even after the card deck has been shuffled by the spectator.
With the stripper card decks, magician can control the card or group of cards within the card decks. This type of magic card decks also can be examined by the spectator.
Svengali Deck
Svengali Card Decks also known as a short and long card deck. This type of magic trick decks consist of two group of cards. One group consist of various playing cards and the other group consist of "same value" of cards (multiple cards).
By setting the trick cards by combining the two groups to be perfectly interlace into each other, you can riffle the trick decks and create an illusion that the card deck is completely ordinary.
With the svengali magic cards you can take one card from the cards deck and then place it on the top of the cards deck, and change all the cards deck to match the chosen card. Or another trick: You pull one cards from the magic decks, put it back to the middle of the magic deck and then transferred instantly to the top of magic card decks. This type of magic card decks cannot be examined by the spectator.
Invisible Deck
Usually this magic trick deck use for mind reading magic tricks. The magician that use invisible magic deck can reveal the selected card (free selected) by spreading the cards. The selected card found to be the only face down card among all face-up cards. This type of magic card decks also cannot be examined by the spectator.
