Glimpsing Card Magic Tricks
Glimpsing a card is a simple card tricks technique that usually use together with key card technique or card forcing. Glimpse is a technique to secretly view and noting a card from a deck of cards. There are few ways to do the glimpsing technique.
Glimpse while you do hindu shuffle
- Just do a normal hindu shuffle, then when you already shuffling about half of the cards, square the card on your left hand with the rest of the cards that lay on your right hands.
- While squaring the cards you could see the bottom card (See Figure 1.1), then just finish the shuffle by putting the pile of cards on your right hand below the pile of cards on your left hand (See Figure 1.2). And then square the cards once again and handed to spectator or put it on the table. Do all move in natural way, like you do not have the intention to see the bottom card.

Glimpse while you do overhand shuffle
- Usually when you done shuffling the cards with overhand shuffling method, you would squaring the cards. That is something you can use to glimpse the card, you could glimpse the bottom card through the gap of your finger (see Figure 1.3).

- The other method is glimpsing bottom card when you take the cards out of the box/case. (see Figure 1.4).
