• For example, your audience tell you that he pick the 4th card from the left. Then You point the 4th card from the back (don't look what card he choose), and say "The 4th card from the left, this one". Then after that you slide the spread cards and square it at your hand - face down.

• Then draw the card one by one (while counting) from the top of the deck/pile into another pile. In this case you will count to 4 by saying it while you draw. The last card should be the pointed card (while actually not).
