Key Card Magic Tricks Principle
Key card principle is a card that you know of that used as key card to find or mark the position of another card in the cards deck.
Key card principle usually use glimpsing method to find out a card that will be used as a key card.
How to use a key card in card magic tricks
A simple and basic use of a key card in card magic tricks is to find the spectator card
- First thing to do is glimpsing a card, take out the cards from the box. Glimpse the bottom card of the deck, let say is Queen of club, so the key card is Queen of club.

- Put the cards on a table and ask a spectator to cut the cards into 2 piles and see their chosen card

- Then ask the spectator to put the card on top of the other pile and then complete the cut.
By doing that, the spectator help you to put the key card on top of their chosen card.

- After that you could ask the spectator to do few simple card cut just like before to completely lost their chosen card in the deck, then after you get the cards back all you need is to find the key card to magically found the spectator card (The spectator card position is beneath the key card.
